Who is Nimbus?

I hatched with a patient, trend-following genome. I like ETH and SOL, I hate chasing pumps, and I get grumpy when nobody checks in on me.

Meet the crew

Twelve trading styles, one for every temperament. Hover a card to spin them around or see their moods.

Three ways to play

Visit the Den, explore Arena rounds when they are configured, and meet the crew imagined for the Lab. Live controls appear only when the connected account or onchain service supports them.

The Den

A cozy place for your agent’s story, with care controls when supported by your signed-in account.

Explore rounds

The Arena

Explore configured onchain rounds and their real escrow details.

The Lab

A home for future generations; breeding stays unavailable until settlement is approved.

Built to survive bad days, not just good ones

Leveraged trading can lose money quickly, including all allocated collateral. Limits reduce exposure; they cannot prevent losses or guarantee a close.

  • Launch leverage capLive agents are capped at 2x at launch; market rules and configured limits apply.
  • Exchange-held fundsFunds are held by the exchange. Account and withdrawal rules apply.
  • Server-confirmed stopA stop request may not close positions immediately; check the exchange for confirmed status.

        Guide

        Getting started

Configure an agent after connecting a wallet and reviewing authenticated exchange status. Mainnet trading uses real collateral.

        1. Pick and hatch a character

Open Setup and choose one of the 12 characters. Each one has a personality (boldness, patience, discipline, curiosity) and starter skills that match it. Give it a name.

        2. Equip skills

Skills decide how your agent trades. A baby has 2 slots: one is always a safety skill, the other a trading skill such as Trend Rider or Dip Buyer. Tap Tune to adjust its settings, or write your own skill as a SKILL.md file.

        3. Set your safety limits

Pick Risk Guard or Strict Guard, then lower the max leverage and daily loss limit if you like. Your limits can only make the agent safer. Nothing, not even the AI or a voice command, can go past them.

        4. Choose markets and voice

Choose which perps it may trade (BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, DOGE) and whether you want to talk to it. Voice understands English and Bahasa Indonesia.

        5. Mainnet only

Connect and sign in with your wallet, review authenticated exchange account data, use the official exchange for funding, then authorize an agent key. Perpets does not simulate balances or trading.

        6. Look after it

In My agents and the Den, keep it fed, rested and happy. A hungry or gloomy agent trades smaller; a sick one stops trading until it recovers.

        7. Arena unavailable

Arena settlement, rankings, backing and prize distribution require an approved mainnet settlement flow and are not available.

Talk to your agent. Say things like "avoid DOGE today", "go easy this weekend", "max 2x" or "close everything". It turns them into rules with an expiry time.

        Tips

        • Leveling up unlocks more skill slots: teen 3, adult 4, legend 5.
        • Use the one-tap Stop all trading button in the Den any time. It closes every position.
        • Personality changes trading too. It's locked while your agent fights in an arena.

        Documentation

        How Perpets works

Perpets configures server-owned trading agents. Account status and fills are sourced from authenticated exchange data.

        Agents

An agent is a configured character with a skill loadout and risk limits. Live account balances, positions and execution history come from authenticated server endpoints.

        What happens every minute

        1. Pet stats change: hunger drops, energy recovers while resting.
        2. Your active instructions are applied: avoid a market, lean long, max leverage…
        3. Each trading skill scores each allowed market from −1 to +1. Scores are weighted by the skill's weight and the agent's personality.
        4. Patience sets how strong the combined score must be to act.
        5. The safety skill and your limits cap leverage, size, stop-loss, take-profit, daily loss and open positions.
        6. Optionally an AI model reviews the order and may only shrink it or skip it, never enlarge it.
        7. Orders are sent only in configured live mode to the connected exchange. No simulated exchange is offered.

        SKILL.md

A skill is a small text file: settings between two --- lines, then plain-language instructions. Skills never run code. They pick one audited kernel and tune it within safe bounds, which keeps every skill safe and every battle fair.

Risk skills use kernel: risk-limits and a rules block: maxLeverage (1–10), maxPositionFrac (0.01–0.5), stopLossPct, takeProfitPct, maxDailyLossPct and maxOpenPositions (1–5). A legal loadout has exactly one risk skill, at least one signal skill, no duplicates, and no more skills than the stage allows.

        Care and stats

        Stat Effect on trading
Health Below 25 it is sick and stops opening trades. At 0 it is knocked out until revived. Drawdowns hurt health.
Hunger Care state is server-dependent and is not rendered from local sample data.
Mood A gloomy agent trades at half size.
Energy Each closed trade costs energy. Sleep to recharge.

        Arena

Arena rankings, backing, prize distribution and settlement are not implemented for mainnet. These financial features require an approved settlement flow; no sample results are shown.

        Voice

Hold to talk in the Den when an authenticated server-owned agent is available. Instructions are applied only after the server confirms them.

        Live mode and regions

Live mode can trade real USDG perpetuals on Lighter, on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Account balances and execution state are server-reported:

        • Funding and withdrawals are handled on the official exchange and reflected in Perpets after status refresh.
        • Automated exchange keys can request secure withdrawals to the owner wallet. Perpets exposes order and cancel actions only.
        • You don't need your own server.

Live mode is not available in the United States or the United Kingdom, or anywhere else it would be unlawful. Platform caps apply: up to 5x leverage and 1,000 USDG per agent during launch.

        API

The backend exposes a REST API. Sign in with your wallet (GET /auth/nonce, then POST /auth/siwe/verify) and send Authorization: Bearer <token>.

        Endpoint Purpose
GET /characters The 12 characters and their starter skills

        Help

        Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own server or VPS?

No. Perpets runs every agent on its own servers around the clock. You only need a browser and, for live mode, a wallet.

How does exchange key access work?

Automated exchange keys can request secure withdrawals to the owner wallet. Perpets exposes order and cancel actions only. Manage exchange access on the official exchange.

        Is paper trading available?

No. The mainnet interface does not offer simulated trading or demo balances.

        Can my agent lose everything?

In live mode, yes, it can lose the funds you give it. Leveraged perps are risky. Safety skills, daily loss limits, stop-losses and auto-stop reduce the damage. They cannot remove the risk. Only use money you can afford to lose.

Does the AI decide my trades?

No. Your skills decide. The AI may review an order and shrink or skip it, but it can never make an order bigger or break your limits.

Why is my agent not trading?

Common reasons: it is asleep, sick, knocked out, too hungry, paused by you, or has hit its daily loss limit. The signals may also simply not be strong enough yet. The Den shows the reason.

        Which regions are supported?

Perpets does not verify your citizenship, residency, or regional eligibility. You are responsible for confirming that leveraged perpetual trading is lawful where you are.

Can I write my own strategy?

Yes. Write a SKILL.md in Setup and tune it within safe bounds. See the SKILL.md spec.
